Recombinant protein corresponding to Ile26-Ala253 from human Complement Factor D, expressed in NS0 cells.
Factor D is a serine protease that catalyzes the initial proteolytic step in the alternative pathway of complement. Also known as adipsin, Factor D is expressed in adipose tissues at high levels. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Capture): 2-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Matched Pair: Detection: C7850-70E Capture: C7850-70C Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
