Synthetic peptide corresponding to the internal region of the mouse connexin 30.3 protein.
Connexin 30.3 (Cx30.3) is expressed in the rat kidney, the theca interna and the granulose cell compartment of the porcine ovarian follicle. Mutation of the gene for Cx30. has been tied to Erythrokeratodermia Variabilis (EKV), an autosomal dominant keratinization disorder characterized by migratory erythematous lesions and fixed keratotic plaques. Mutations in Cx30.3 are also involved in hearing impairment. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 2ug/ml Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml Immunofluorescence: 2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
