CXCL16 is a recently discovered alpha chemokine (CXC) which also has characteristics of CC chemokines and a structure similar to Fractalkine. It may also play a role in attracting activated lymphocyte subsets during inammation and may assist immune responses. Recombinant Murine CXCL16 is a 9.9kDa protein containing 88 amino acid residues.
