Human CX3CR1 is a 40.4kD seven transmembrane protein. CX3CR1, known also as fractalkine receptor, is the receptor for CX3CL1 and acts as a co-receptor with CD4 for the HIV-1 envelope protein. It is expressed in a variety of human tissues and mediates leukocyte adhesion and migration. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Immunohistochemistry Positive Control: Human heart Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
