Immunogen: Dengue infected cell lysate.
Dengue infection is a major cause of morbidity in tropical and subtropical regions. It is a mosquito borne viral infection that may be asymptomatic or may cause undifferentiated fever, dengue fever, dengue haemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome. The Dengue virus group consists of four closely related serotypes and belongs to the family Flaviviridae. Currently there is no vaccine or effective antiviral drugs to treat the infection. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
