Sequence (linear): NH2-CNGMARKPSRAYKI-OH Location: aa347-360 of human DNase II precursor (1-3). Applications: The peptide is used for blocking the antibody activity of DNase II (catalog number 2059). It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37C. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
