Product Description

Description: Dextrose Tryptone Broth is a non-selective medium which can support the growth of a variety of mesophilic and thermophilic microorganisms. It contains the pH indicator bromcresol purple. Inoculated filter membranes are incubated on this medium at 55C to detect and enumerate thermophilic flat sour sporulating microorganisms. Isolation and enumeration of ''flat-sour thermophiles and mesophiles in food by membrane filter technique. Appearance: Grayish-beige, homogeneous, free flowing powder.
