Growth factor additive in cell culture media for mesoderm and neuroectoderm-derived cells. Half maximum stimulation of cell proliferation with bovine aortic endothelial cells (BAE cells) is reached using < 3ng/ml. Biological Activity: 3 ng/ml for half maximum stimulation of cell proliferation with bovine aortic endothelial cells (BAE cells). Applications: Characterized growth factor additive in cell culture media for mesoderm and neuroectoderm-derived cells. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
