A precursor to furfurylmercaptam-d2 which is very prone to oxidation to the disulfide. We will provide a detailed procedure for the preparation of the thiol from the thioacetate with spectral data upon request. Solubility: Chloroform, Ether, Ethyl Acetate, Methanol Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
