| Glucose transporter 2 isoform is an integral plasma membrane glycoprotein of the liver, islet beta cells, intestine, and kidney epithelium. It mediates facilitated bidirectional glucose transport. Because of its low affinity for glucose, it has been suggested as a glucose sensor. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Indirect Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
