Product Description

Recombinant full-length human GSK3b was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using a N-terminal GST tag. The gene accession number is NM_002093. Specific Activity: ~500pmol/min/ug Assay Conditions: GSK3beta was incubated with a substrate (Ser/Thy peptide 9) for 65 min at 30C in 1X kinase buffer supplemented with ATP. Developer solution was added to reaction and reaction was stopped after 1 hour of incubation at RT. Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for 6 months.
