Product Description

Hanks Balanced Salt Solution is designed for use with cells maintained in non-CO2 atmospheric conditions. Phenol red has been shown to interfere with the growth of some cells at cloning densities. Calcium and magnesium support cell adhesion. H1803 is recommended working with stem cells or when growing cells at low densities. H1803 is also recommended to minimize cell attachment or aggregation. HBSS requires 0.35g/L of sodium bicarbonate and pH adjustment prior to filtration. It contains 1g/L of glucose.
