Product Description

Human HDAC5 (GenBank Accession No. NM_001015053), full length with N-terminal GST tag, expressed in baculovirus expression system. Specific Activity: ~1000pmol/min/ug. Assay Condition: 25mM Tris/Cl, pH 8.0, 137mM sodium chloride, 2.7mM KCl, 1mM MgCl2, and 0.1mg/ml BSA, 20uM H5109-66G substrate and 0.8-50ng/ul HDAC5. Incubate 30 min at 37C. Incubation Condition: 60 min at 30C. Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Storage and Stability: Store at -70C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
