(De6S Hep) - (approx 90% reduction in 6-O-sulfates and 25% loss of 2-O-sulfates) These products have been modified by standard chemical methods to selectively remove sulfate groups from C2 of Iduronate, (De2S Hep), C6 of glucosamine (De6SHep) or the N-sulfate of Glucosamine (DeNS Hep). The DeNS heparin contains the free amino group (NH+3), in DeNS/Ac Hep the free amino group has been modified by acetylation, and heparin that is partially de-N-sulfated (pDeNS Hep) and a pDeNS heparin in which the free amino groups have been acetylated (pDeNS/Ac Hep). Applications: Suitable for use in biogical, biochemical and biophysical laboratory research. Other applications not tested. Source: Heparin from Porcine Mucosa Form: Supplied as a white/yellow powder Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
