Product Description

Source: Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 8-19 of human histone H3 if numbered from the initial methionine or to residues 7-18 if numbered from the mature histone H3, with a C-terminal cysteine added (ARKSTGG ACKAPRG-C). ACK denotes acetyl-lysine. For use in a peptide competition with Anti-Histone H3 (Lys 14) or to check for specificity. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
