Splenic leukocytes from an outbred nine-week-old chicken
The chicken Ia antigen is expressed on B cells, a subpopulation of the monocyte/macrophage lineage of cells, and mitogen-activated T cells. 1 The molecule recognized by this antibody is similar in structure to the murine Ia antigens and human DR antigens. Applications: Identification and enumeration of Ia+ cells by flow cytometry 1 Immunoprecipitation 1 Inhibition of MLR 1 Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
