Iberiotoxin is a selective and reversible inhibitor of high-conductance calcium-activated potassium channel. A toxin purified from the Eastern Indian red scorpion Buthus tamulus. Amino Acid Sequence (linear): Pyr-Phe-Thr-Asp-Val-Asp-Cys-Ser-Val-Ser-Lys-Glu-Cys-Trp-Ser-Val-Cys-Lys-Asp-Leu-Phe-Gly-Val-Asp-Arg-Gly-Lys-Cys-Met-Gly-Lys-Lys-Cys-Arg-Cys-Tyr-Gln Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
