Label: Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) (Molecular Weight 390 daltons) Absorption Wavelength: 495nm Emission Wavelength: 528nm Fluorochrome/Protein Ratio: 4.4moles FITC per mole of Goat IgG Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Purity:
Purified by ion exchange chromatography. IEP Assay shows a single precipitin arc against anti-fluorescein, anti-goat IgG and anti-goat serum.
