Influenza virus is a single-stranded RNA virus, segmented, 70nm diameter and enveloped. Strains are described by geographic origin, strain number, year of isolation and hemagglutination (H) and neuraminidase (N) antigens. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence: 1:500 Immunofluorescence (Indirect): 1:1000 Hemagglutination Inhibition: 1:2500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
