Bovine Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1 beta) is expressed by a number of cell types including monocytes, macrophages and endothelial cells. This inflammatory cytokine has a wide range of effects, such as promoting T and B cell proliferation and inducing neutrophil chemotaxis. Recombinant protein corresponding to bovine IL-1 Beta, expressed in pichia pastoris Biological Activity: Recombinant Bovine IL-1 Beta has an ED50 in the range of 75-100pg/ml, determined by measuring the effect of recombinant bovine TNF IL-1 beta on the proliferation of murine D10.G4.1 cells.
