Recombinant protein corresponding to Met1-Trp152 from human IL-1F10 expressed in E. coli.
Human IL-1F10/IL-1HY2 is a secreted cytokine belonging to the IL-1 family. It is synthesized as a 152 amino acid mature protein that lacks an identifiable signal sequence. It binds to soluble IL-1 R1. Human IL-1F10 shares 82% aa sequence identity with mouse IL-1F10. Human IL-1F10 also shares 39% and 27% aa sequence identity with IL-1ra and IL-1beta, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
