Immunogen: Recombinant protein corresponding to Asn21-Pro242 from human Interleukin 34, expressed in NS0 cells.
Interleukin 34 (IL-34) is secreted as a homodimer consisting of 39kD monomers. It belongs to no known cytokine family. The mature chain contains one potential site for N-linked glycosylation. IL-34 is widely expressed, but it is most abundant in the spleen. The receptor for IL-34 is colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF-1R). Functionally, IL-34 stimulates monocyte viability. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA (detection): 0.5-2ug/ml using I8443-93G as capture antibody Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
