Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse IP-10, expressed in E. coli.
IP-10 is a CXC chemokine that signals through the CXCR3 receptor. IP-10 selectively chemoattracts Th1 lymphocytes and monocytes, and inhibits cytokine-stimulated hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. Additionally, it is angiostatic and mitogenic for vascular smooth muscle cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Capture): 0.5-2ug/ml (100ul/well). Used in conjunction with I8449-07C, detects 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant mouse IP10 Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml, Detection limit is 1.5-3ng/lane for recombinant mouse IP10 under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity (100ug/ml), a concentration of 10ug/ml of this antibody is required. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
