Product Description

Useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas and certain non-Hodgkins lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single light chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant. Immunoglobulin bearing Kappa light chains are present on about 60% of normal B lymphocytes. F(ab)2 Goat anti-rat IgG: RPE (mouse adsorbed) Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from an immunized PVG.RT1c rat were fused with cells of the rat Y3 Ag.1.2.3 myeloma cell line.
