Product Description

KRT18 is the type I intermediate filament chain keratin 18. Keratin 18, together with its filament partner keratin 8, are perhaps the most commonly found members of the intermediate filament family. They are expressed in single layer epithelial tissues of the body. Mutations in its gene have been linked to cryptogenic cirrhosis. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Indirect Flow Cytometry, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100 Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
