Mast cells contain a number of preformed chemical mediators such as histamine, chymase, carboxypeptidase and proteolytic tryptase. Human Mast Cell Chymase is considered to be an important marker of mast cells as well as an important mediator of inflammation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Peptide ELISA: 1:64,000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin) 6-8ug/ml. Heat induced antigen retrieval in citrate buffer, pH 6.0 is required. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months upon receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
