Category: Antikörper
Application: FLISA, WB
Immunogen: Recombinant protein corresponding to human MCP-2, expressed in E. coli.
MCP-2 acts as a chemoattractant for monocytes, lymphocytes, eosinophils and basophils, due to its ability to bind to the common MCP receptor, chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 2 (CCR2), and also CCR1 and CCR3. Proteolytic cleavage of MCP-2 into the NH2-terminally truncated form, MCP-2 (6-76), results in the loss of chemotactic activity, forming a functional C-C chemokine inhibitor, which may be important during inflammatory responses. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
