MDM2 forms a complex with p53 leading to p53 inhibition. MDM2 also acts to stimulate cell proliferation via its induction of transcription factors such as E2F1 and DPI. MDM2 is overexpressed in a range of human malignancies, including soft tissue sarcomas, breast cancer and bladder cancer. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Recommended Positive Control: Human Breast Carcinoma Recommended Negative Control: I1904-78R: IgG1 Murine Negative Control Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
