| MELK contains 1 protein kinase domain that belongs to the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. It phosphorylates ZNF622 and may contribute to its redirection to the nucleus. MELK may also be involved in the inhibition of spliceosome assembly during mitosis. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
