Recombinant corresponding to aa32-360 from human Nectin-2 expressed in NSO cells (NP_002847).
Nectins are a small family of Ca2+-independent immunoglobulin (Ig)-like cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) that organize intercellular junctions.1 The nectin family has at least four members that are highly homologous to the human receptor for poliovirus. Nectin-2/CD112 is a 60-65kD type I TM glycoprotein that is found on a variety of cell types, 2, 3 and is known to bind the pseudorabies virus, and herpes simplex virus2 (HSV2), but not HSV1 or poliovirus. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: NSO myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c mice. Absorption: 488nm Emission: 565-605nm Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months at 4C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
