Product Description

GST-tagged fusion protein to residues 67-150 of human PAK-1, expressed in E. coli, bound non-covalently to glutathione-agarose. Specifically binds to and precipitates Rac-GTP and cdc42-GTP from cell lysates. Species Crossreactivity: Predicted to interact with all mammalian Rac and cdc42. Applications: Suitable for use in Affinity Precipitation and Immmunoblot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Affinity Precipitation: 10ug precipitated Rec-GTP and cdc42-GTP fromn HeLa cell lysates that were loaded in vitro with GTP-gammaS and GDP. Immunoblot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilution to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
