Product Description

N-terminal His6-tagged recombinant full-length human PI 3-kinase (p120g) expressed by baculovirus in Sf21 insect cells. Specific Activity: ~35U/mg, where one unit of PI3 Kinase (p120gamma) activity is defined as 1nmol phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate formed/minute at 22C with a final ATP concentration of 100uM. MS Tryptic Fingerprint: Confirmed identity as PI 3-Kinase (p120g) with 37% amino acid coverage of the translated native sequence Kinase Assay: 0.05-12.5ng of PI 3-Kinase (p120g) was assayed in a 30 minute reaction. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
