This plasminogen was prepared from fresh plasma by immobilized lysine chromatography. Source: Rat plasminogen. Solubility: >2mg/ml and <5mg/ml Spectrophotometric Data: Ultraviolet: Absorbance (280nm) = 4.59 0.1% = 1.69 Active Concentration: 2.3mg/ml Activity: No plasmin activity detected with a chromogenic substrate. > 98% conversion to plasmin observed with activation via uPA. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
