Recombinant protein corresponding to Protein Kinase C epsilon, expressed in baculoviral insect expression system. Enzyme activity: Not enzymatically active. Applications: Suitable for use as a standard for Western Blotting. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: For Western blots using enhanced chemiluminescence load 2-5ul of prepared standard directly from vial. No dilution is necessary. For blots using less sensitive substrates such as alkaline phosphatase, larger amounts of protein should be loaded onto the gel. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
