Recombinant protein corresponding to human Protein Kinase Cz, expressed in a baculoviral insect expression system. Enzyme activity: Not enzymatically active. Applications: Suitable for use as a standard for Western blots. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: For Western blots using enhanced chemiluminescence load 2-5ul of prepared standard directly from vial. No dilution is necessary. For blots using less sensitive substrates, such as alkaline phosphatase, larger amounts of protein should be loaded onto the gel. Optimum dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at -20C for 12 months Stable indefinitely at -70C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
