| Rac1, a member of Ras small G-proteins, is involved in cytoskeletal actin organization as well as transformation. It is also involved in stress-induced JNKK signal transduction pathway. Rac1, belonging to the Rho small GTPase family, regulates the actin cytoskeleton but also other cellular processes. RAC1 has been shown to be involved in the regulation of cell-cell adhesion.
