Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-NAAEELKPRNKK, from human RAE1, at C-terminal (NP_003601.1, NP_001015885.1).
Binds mRNA. May function in nucleocytoplasmic transport and in directly or indirectly attaching cytoplasmic mRNPs to the cytoskeleton. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:64,000 Western Blot: 0.03-0.1ug/ml, observed in lysates of human hepatocarcinoma cell line HepG2 on ~38-40kD bands Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 3-6ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
