CRADD is a 22kD, widely-expressed cytosolic adaptor protein. CRADD is a death domain (CARD/DD) containing protein and has been shown to induce cell apoptosis. Through its CARD domain, this protein interacts with, and thus recruits, caspase 2/ICH1 to the cell death signal transduction complex that includes tumor necrosis factor receptor 1 (TNFR1A), RIPK1/RIP kinase, and numbers of other CARD domain- containing proteins. Source: Recombinant human CRADD fused in his tagged expressed in E. coli (1-199aa). Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
