GST-tagged fusion protein corresponding to residues 397-519 of rat Ral binding protein, expressed in E. coli. Applications: Affinity Precipitation: 10-15ul (5-7.5ug) of a 50% slurry precipitated RalAGTP and RalB-GTP from 1mg of EGF-stimulated Cos-7 cells which had been lysed in a magnesium containing lysis buffer. Note: Due to spontaneous deactivation of RalA and RalB, use lysates that have been stored at-70C for less than 1 month. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Supplied as a liquid suspension, 50% agarose slurry in 50mM Tris, pH 7.5, 200mM sodium chloride, 1% NP40, 1mM PMSF, 1mM aprotinin prior to the addition of glycerol to 50%.
