Recombinant SIV p27 is expressed as a fusion protein. Purified protein is enymatically cleaved to produce p27 with authentic N- and C-termini. Applications: Binds to SIV positive simian serum polyclonal antibodies and epitope specific murine monoclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western Blot. Also suitable for Immunization and Cell Activation Studies. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 10-100ng Western Blot: 100-500ng depending on the specificity of the primary antibody. Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Dilute S1014-01 stock solution in PBS or tissue culture medium buffer immediately before use.
