Product Description

Tachykinin antagonist that is a more potent substance P antagonist than spantide I and less effective in releasing histamine from mast cells. It also displays negligible neurotoxicity when compared with spantide I. Sequence (linear): D-Lys(Nicotinoyl)-Pro-BETA-(3-Pyridyl)-Ala-Pro-3,4-dichloro-D-Phe-Asn-D-Trp-Phe-D-Trp-Leu-Nle-NH2 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
