Recombinant full-length human SRC with N-terminal GST tag (Gene accession number NM_005417), expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Specific Activity: ~55 pmol/min/ug. Assay condition: 50mM HEPES (pH7.5), 10mM MgCl2, 1 mM EGTA, 0.01% Brij-35, 200uM ATP, 2uM Tyr2 substrate (Z-lyte kinase assay kit from Invitrogen), 1 hour at room temperature. Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
