TARC, a CC chemokine, is predominantly produced by dendritic cells in the thymus, and signals through the CCR4 receptor. TARC is chemotactic towards T cells. Recombinant Human TARC is an 8.0 kDa protein containing 71 amino acid residues, including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines. Molecular Weight: ~8kD Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human T cells using a concentration range of 1-10ng/ml.
