Paraffin Tissue Block. Suitable for use in identifying cellular localization of RNA or protein using in situ hybridization or immunohistochemistry. Tissue was fixed in formalin immediately after excision, and embedded in paraffin. All paraffin embedded tissue products, including tissue array, tissue sections, and tissue panels can be used for both immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. Paraffin tissue sections in each pair are prepared from the same donor. This product line is ideal for localization of tumor-specific genes and tumor metastatic genes. Tissue sections are 5um in thickness, and mounted on positively charged glass slide. Paraffin Tissue Panel: The panel contains 5 to 8 different tissues on one slide. Tissue panels are 5um in thickness, and mounted on positively charged glass slides. Paraffin Tissue Array FDA Standard Tissue Array: Tissue arrays are 6um in thickness, and mounted on positively charged glass slides. Each tissue sample is about 1.5mm in diameter. A reference chart shows all the tissue names and their respective position on the array.
