Protein Western Blots are manufactured by using high-quality protein isolated from documented tissues. The tissue is excised, immediately frozen, and then pathologically identified. Protein is isolated by proprietary techniques. Each lane of the blot contains 50ug of protein. The protein is separated by 4-20% gradient gel electrophoresis and transferred to a PVDF membrane. Human placenta protein is used as an interblot control lane for protein expression comparison between different blots. Protein Western Blots are supplied ready for immediate use, so that you can immediately screen for your protein of interest without the hassle of obtaining hard to find tissues and processing the protein yourself. Features: Ready to use, pre-blotted with high quality protein Suitable for both radioactive and non-radioactive probes Extensive selection of blots Documentation of tissues clinical histories is available (additional cost) ''Matched tissue slides or cDNA might be available for immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization or PCR High sensitivity and low background Normalized based on amount of protein used in blots Interblot control built into every blot Applications: Identification of normal, tumor or disease tissues specific gene expression Protein size determination Gene expression pattern analysis Compare expression level of novel genes Examining alternative splicing and prematur etermination of specific proteins Tissues on Blots (different tissues, different single donors) lane 1: heart lane 2: brain lane 3: kidney lane 4: liver lane 5: lung lane 6: pancreas lane 7: spleen lane 8: skeletal muscle lane 9: stomach lane 10: small intestine lane 11: colon lane 12: rectum lane 13: uterus lane 14: prostate lane 15: testis lane 16: placenta Storage Conditions: Store blots at 4C. Store moist in a sealed bag. Keep away from light. Note: USBio recommends following protocol provided.
