Universal Protein Lysates: Designed for use as a control for antibody arrays and Western Blot Analysis. Total protein extract is pooled from a collection of high-quality tissue. By using pooled protein from whole tissues you can get better protein representation, homogenous signal intensities, stable expression profiles, and high reproducibility between different lots. Features: Broad protein coverage from diversified tissues Large production scale to minimize lot-to-lot variation Applications: Controls for antibody arrays Controls for Western Blot Analysis Recommended Usage: Western Blot (10ug to 20ug per lane is recommended for a mini gel). Immunoprecipitation, Electrophoresis, Enzymatic activity analysis, Protein-protein interaction, tissue specific expression. Preparation: All the protein lysates were prepared from liquid nitrogen fresh frozen tissues. Universal protein lysates were prepared by Total Protein Extraction Kit (Cat P9087). Quality Control: 1. The isolated protein pattern on SDS-PAGE gel is visualized by Coomassie blue staining, the pattern is consistent with each lot. 2. Protein lysate is positively confirmed by Western Blot using specific biomarker: GAPDH for total protein, cytoplasmic and universal total protein, Histone for nuclear protein, Na/K ATPase for membrane protein, Vimentin for cytoskeleton protein. Storage and Stability: Store the protein lysate at -70C for long term storage. After the protein is thawed, store it at 2-8C for continuous use. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. Stable for 6 months.
Purity: Protein lysate is verified on SDS-PAGE analysis as a consistent pattern.
Form: Supplied in a buffer including HEPES, pH 7.9, MgCl2, KCl, EDTA, Sucrose, Glycerol, Sodium deoxycholate, NP-40, and a cocktail of protease inhibitors.
