Beta-TrCP plays a relevant role in the control of stability of several key protein factors. In Xenopus, beta-TrCP acts as an inhibitor of Wnt signaling and dorsal axis formation. A variety of cellular stress can induce the level of beta-TrCP mRNA and protein levels in human cells. Activation of stress-activated protein kinases JNK by forced expression of constitutively active mutants of JNKK2 and MKK6 also leads to accumulation of beta-TrCP. Another role played by beta-TrCP is the targeting of Cdc25A for degradation by the Skp1/Cul1/F-box protein complex. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 7ug/IP reaction ELISA: 0.1-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
