Synthetic peptide corresponding to a 15aa sequence located near human CD283 carboxy-terminus.
TLRs play an important role in the recognition of invading microbial pathogens during innate immunity, acting through adaptor molecules such as MyD88 and TRAF6. CD283 acts via a cytokine signaling pathway to induce the activation of NF-kappaB and type I interferons, and has been shown to recognise double-stranded (ds) viral RNA, including that of the Influenza A and West Nile virus. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
