Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide corresponding to a 15 aa sequence near the carboxy terminus of mouse TLR11.
TLR11 is principally expressed in macrophages and liver, and epithelial cells of the kidney and bladder. Mouse TLR11 is reported to recognise uropathogenic bacteria, and to activate appropriate host defense genes as part of the innate immune response to microbial infection. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
