Immunogen: Recombinant protein corresponding to human TRAIL derived from E. coli.
Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Sandwich): 2-4ug/ml (100ul/well) detects at least 500pg/ml of recombinant human TRAIL when used with biotinylated anti-human TRAIL (catalog 143686) as detection antibody at a concentration of 1-2ug/ml. Western Blot: 0.25-0.5ug/ml. The detection limit is 0.25-0.5ng/lane of recombinant human TRAIL, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Neutralization: 0.3-0.6ug/ml to yield one-half the maximal inhibition of the biological activity of human TRAIL (10ng/ml). Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
